Why Florida

With year round warmth, Florida is home to some of the most exciting vacation opportunities! NorthWest Florida offers a variety of sights to see, rich with history and culture. Fort Walton Beach, sitting on a Native American holy ground, is ripe with mid-century Americana. SouthEast Florida, considered the Gold Coast, encompasses Jupiter, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and the Florida Keys. The upscale lifestyle prevalent in the area lends to activities such as designer shopping, championship golfing, yachting, luxurious spas, and more! With the Florida Everglades nearby, there is also a great deal of flora and fauna to explore. Don’t miss Miami Beach, Little Havana, Jupiter, and of course, the legendary Key West!

SouthWest Florida is bordered by the calm and beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Tampa, Saint Petersburg, and Naples offer unbeatable golfing, hundreds of art galleries, water sports, dolphin watching, cruises, and the Caribbean Gardens, a zoo featuring Indo-Chinese tigers, African big cats, pythons, hyenas, and more. There are more than 10,000 Islands off the south west coast of Florida, including Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. And don’t miss historic Fort Meyers, with slow moving rivers, manatee spotting, gardens, a large cattle ranch, and unbeatable sport fishing!

Orlando is, of course, best known for its theme parks. Walt Disney World is home to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Center, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Downtown Disney. Universal Studios Florida offers forty rides, shows movie sets, and attractions, as well as world class entertainment, dining, and shopping. Created by Steven Spielberg, Islands of Adventure offers a look into five uniquely themed islands. Sea World of Florida offers education and excitement with the unique marine life park. Busch Gardens, outside of Tampa, is sure to impress thrill seekers of all ages, with spectacular roller coasters and water rides.

After spending the day at one of the famous theme parks, you can race go karts, play mini golf, take a hot air balloon ride, or fly a vintage WWII fighter trainer. The great outdoors also offers a wealth of activities, with an amazing world of native Florida swamps, lakes and streams, and incredible wildlife. There are plenty of opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, airboat rides, and more, where you can watch for the areas birds, turtles, alligators, and maybe even spot an American Bald Eagle!

With such a range of available activities and destinations, shouldn’t the real question be: Why NOT Florida?
